Who we are

PerroOS is a product of Perro Technocare Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We build software for pet-care businesses including groomers, boarding centres, daycare facilities, veterinary clinics, and related verticals.

Information we collect

• Business owner and staff details: name, mobile number, email address, and role.
• Customer and pet records entered by the business: customer name, phone, email, and pet details (species, breed, date of birth, health notes).
• Appointment and billing data: service history, invoices, and payment references.
• WhatsApp and communication logs: message content sent or received through the PerroOS WhatsApp integration.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session duration collected via standard web analytics.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the PerroOS platform.
• To send transactional notifications such as appointment confirmations and invoices.
• To process payments via Razorpay in accordance with their privacy policy.
• To comply with legal obligations including GST filing requirements under Indian law.
• To contact you about product updates, new features, or support issues.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate PerroOS (such as cloud hosting, payment processors, and WhatsApp Business API providers) and only to the extent required to deliver those services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.

Data retention

Business account data is retained during your subscription and for 12 months after cancellation. After that, you may request permanent deletion, subject to legal retention requirements. Billing and invoice records may be retained for 7 years to comply with GST and accounting regulations.

Your rights

• Access: you may request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: you may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Portability: you may request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: you may object to certain uses of your data for marketing.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We may use privacy-friendly analytics cookies, such as Plausible or Vercel Analytics, that are not used for cross-site advertising tracking. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, encrypted database storage, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

PerroOS is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us immediately at dev@perroos.in.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules thereunder. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
